Job summary

Gold Group is seeking a Mobile BMS Engineer to cover Cambridge and Northampton sites. The role involves carrying out preventative maintenance, reactive fault-finding, and contributing to energy efficiency improvements across schools, hospitals, offices, and government buildings.

You should have experience with BMS platforms and a City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical or BEMS. The package includes £40,000-£56,000 depending on experience, plus a company car, pension and a range of learning

Mobile BMS Engineer

Cambridge / Northampton

£40,000 - £56,000 Depending on experience + Company Car

Brief

Mobile BMS Engineer needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in Cambridge / Northampton who are looking to employ a number of experienced and well-rounded Mobile BMS Engineer's that takes pride in their work.

The successful candidates will manage a variety of essential planned and reactive tasks across the clients diverse portfolio, Schools, Hospitals, Offices, Business Parks and Government Buildings.

The successful candidate must have experience of at least one of the following - Trend, Tridium, Distech, Siemens or Niagara. Along with also holding a City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical or BEMS field.

What the role entails:

• Preventative Maintenance: Carrying out scheduled maintenance checks on BMS systems and components to ensure smooth operation across various sites.
• Reactive Calls: Responding to breakdowns when things go wrong. This role involves participating in a reactive call-out rota, which includes additional financial benefits for on-call availability and attendance.
• Continuous Improvement: Working with other engineer colleagues to help make recommendations to our clients to enhance system performance and energy efficiency. This will require teams to complete thorough reports and build up clear cost estimates & quotes for system enhancements.

What experience you need to be the successful Mobile BMS Engineer:

• City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical or BEMS
• Knowledge and Experience of at least one of the following (additional training can be provided depending on the area requirements at a later date):
