Job summary

Gold Group is seeking a Mobile BMS Engineer in Nottingham to manage planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse portfolio including schools, hospitals, offices and government buildings.

The role requires experience with at least one of Trend, Tridium, Distech, Siemens or Niagara and a City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical or BEMS. On‑call duties carry additional financial benefits and a company car is provided.

Qualifications

Brief

Mobile BMS Engineer needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in Nottingham who are looking to employ a number of experienced and well-rounded Mobile BMS Engineer's that takes pride in their work.

The successful candidates will manage a variety of essential planned and reactive tasks across the clients diverse portfolio, Schools, Hospitals, Offices, Business Parks and Government Buildings.

The successful candidate must have experience of at least one of the following - Trend, Tridium, Distech, Siemens or Niagara. Along with also holding a City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical or BEMS field.

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Mobile BMS Engineer will include:

• Preventative Maintenance: Carrying out scheduled maintenance checks on BMS systems and components to ensure smooth operation across various sites.
• Reactive Calls: Responding to breakdowns when things go wrong. This role involves participating in a reactive call-out rota, which includes additional financial benefits for on-call availability and attendance.
• Continuous Improvement: Working with other engineer colleagues to help make recommendations to our clients to enhance system performance and energy efficiency. This will require teams to complete thorough reports and build up clear cost estimates & quotes for system enhancements.

What experience you need to be the successful Mobile BMS Engineer:

• City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical or BEMS
• Knowledge and Experience of at least one of the following (additional training can be provided depending on the area requirements at a later date):
