Job summary

Education Authority is recruiting a Mobile Catering Assistant to join our school catering service in the Ballymena area. You will actively participate in daily operations under the Senior/Unit Catering Supervisor, focusing on preparing and serving meals, maintaining hygiene, and supporting dining room setup.

The role requires reliable participation in a team, good customer service, and adherence to food safety and school policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or customer service.
• Willingness to undertake job-related training.
• Ability to work 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation and serving.
• Set up dining areas and maintain hygiene.
• Help promote meals to pupils and parents.
• Coordinate with central kitchen for service delivery.
• Perform kitchen and dining room duties and cleaning.
• Adhere to statutory regulations and school policies.
