Education Authority (Northern Ireland) is seeking a Catering Assistant to support daily operations in the school catering unit. The role involves food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining hygienic dining areas for pupils and staff.

You will work as part of a team under the direction of the Senior/Unit Catering Supervisor and Catering Manager, with responsibilities including basic cooking, service point management, and adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Basic preparation of food and beverages.
• Simple cooking and reconstitution of prepared food.
• Organising and controlling food service points.
• Transferring and serving meals and snacks.
• Assisting with promotion of meals to pupils, parents and staff.
• Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.
• Recording temperatures for control purposes.
• Complete duties within statutory requirements.
