Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You will diagnose and repair vehicles at the roadside, handling emergencies and getting members back on the road quickly.

You’ll work across Warrington cluster and surrounding areas, with a home-based start and finish, company-provided RAC van, fuel card, and full uniform. A Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent is preferred along with 2+ years’ experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• Role requires mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics expertise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home while servicing members in your local area.
