Job summary

RAC seeks a Roadside Technician to cover Warrington and surrounding areas, starting and finishing each day at home with a RAC van, fuel card, and diagnostic kit provided. You will diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and offer fast, safe service to members across the local region.

Requires Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience (or 5+ years as a technician) and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent requirement.
• 2+ years of experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic or 5+ years experience total.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end day at home with local dispatch to members in your area.
