Job summary

The RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician in the Barnsley/Doncaster area. You’ll earn a base salary of £35,000 with a realistic OTE of £60,000, and top performers can earn more through bonuses and overtime.

You’ll start and finish at home with an RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and a diagnostic kit supplied, and you’ll work about 40 hours a week with optional overtime. As a Roadside Technician you’ll provide diagnostics, roadside repairs and emergency breakdown support across

Qualifications

• A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent), with proven technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
• Customer-focused approach.
• A full UK driving licence.

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance when members need it most.
• Start and end your day at home and work locally to get members back on the road.
