GAP Group Limited is seeking a skilled Mobile Fitter to service, maintain, and repair our fleet of plant and tool equipment. Based from a home depot, you will travel to customer sites and depots, ensuring equipment is safe and ready for hire.

The role offers hands-on work and clear career progression within a growing business. The ideal candidate has proven plant fitter experience, solid knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance, and a full driving licence.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a plant mechanic/fitter or time-served background in a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance.
• Detail-oriented with ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and support depot operations.
• Customer-focused mindset and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Servicing and maintaining a wide range of plant and tool equipment within the GAP fleet.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs at depots and on customer sites.
• Completing servicing, inspections, and repairs to maintain safety and reliability.
• Updating service records, tagging equipment, and completing certificates.
• Working independently on customer sites while complying with Health & Safety requirements.
• Maintaining a clean, organized vehicle and workspace.
• Supporting general workshop and depot activities as required.
