GAP Group Limited is seeking a skilled Mobile Fitter to service and repair our fleet of diggers, dumpers, and hand tools from a home depot and on customer sites. The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, problem solving, and ensuring equipment is safe and ready when needed.

You will work independently and with depot teams, maintaining service records and complying with health and safety standards. A full driving licence is essential for travel across sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plant mechanic/fitter.
• Solid knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining plant and tool equipment across the GAP fleet.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs at depots and customer sites.
• Completing servicing, inspections, and repairs to uphold safety and reliability.
• Updating service records, tagging equipment, and certifying tests.
• Working on customer sites while complying with GAP and site health & safety requirements.
• Maintaining a clean, organized vehicle and workspace.
• Supporting general workshop and depot activities as required.
