Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a mobile Maintenance Technician to cover East Midlands. You will deliver planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring works are completed to contract SLAs and KPIs. A current driving licence and right to work in the UK are essential.

This role requires NVQ in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services and strong safety documentation practices. Joining a large, award-winning facilities management team, you will contribute to site

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems.
• Ensure all reactive works orders and PPMs are completed within contract SLAs and KPIs.
• Maintain site compliance logs and service sheets; coordinate with contractors.
• Support site supervisor to deliver services safely, on time, and within budget.
• Provide prompt callout response as per rota.

About The Role:

Days of Working: Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 16:30

This is a mobile role covering East Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems
• Ensure all delegated reactive works orders and PPMs are completed within the contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
• Provide a significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and must, therefore, play its part in the overall delivery of service.
• To complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks accordingly
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
• Support the site supervisor with the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services ensuring that all works are delivered, safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota

Essential Hiring Criteria:

• Applicant must have the right to work in the UK
• Must have a current, valid driving licence.
• NVQ, or equivalent inElectrical, Mechanical, or Building Services along with proven maintenance experience.
• Sound knowledge of understanding and developing safety documentation to ensure site safety procedures are always followed.
• CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.
• Understanding of First Aid
• IT Literate - Basic understanding of Excel & Microsoft products
