Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a mobile Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric within the East Midlands. The role covers field sites with Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30 shifts.

You will complete service sheets, update compliance logs, and manage contractor activities, supporting site leadership to ensure safe, on-time delivery and contract profitability.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Current, valid driving licence.
• NVQ or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services.
• Understanding of safety documentation and site safety procedures.
• CSCS Skills Card or equivalent qualification.
• Understanding of First Aid.
• IT literate with basic Excel and Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems.
• Ensure all reactive works orders and PPMs are completed within SLAs & KPIs.
• Contribute to contract profitability and overall service delivery.
• Complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks.
• Undertake contractor control duties and monitor workmanship.
• Support the site supervisor in an integrated delivery approach.
• Provide callout response as detailed on the rota.

About The Role

Days of Working: Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 16:30

This is a mobile role covering East Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems
• Ensure all delegated reactive works orders and PPMs are completed within the contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
• Provide a significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and must, therefore, play its part in the overall delivery of service.
• To complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks accordingly
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
• Support the site supervisor with the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services ensuring that all works are delivered, safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota

Essential Hiring Criteria

• Applicant must have the right to work in the UK
• Must have a current, valid driving licence.
• NVQ, or equivalent inElectrical, Mechanical, or Building Services along with proven maintenance experience.
• Sound knowledge of understanding and developing safety documentation to ensure site safety procedures are always followed.
• CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.
• Understanding of First Aid
• IT Literate - Basic understanding of Excel & Microsoft products
