Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a mobile Maintenance Engineer to cover East Midlands, delivering planned and reactive maintenance on M&E and building fabric. You will update service sheets, maintain compliance logs and support contractor supervision to meet SLAs.

The role requires NVQ or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services, CSCS, a valid UK driving licence and IT skills. A flexible pay option and ongoing professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Current, valid UK driving licence.
• NVQ or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services with proven maintenance experience.
• Sound knowledge of safety documentation and site safety procedures.
• CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.
• Understanding of First Aid.
• IT literate with basic Excel and Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems.
• Ensure all delegated reactive works orders and PPMs are completed within contract-defined SLAs & KPIs.
• Contribute to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and delivery of service.
• Complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks accordingly.
• Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client and monitor workmanship.
• Support the site supervisor with an integrated approach for all contracted services.
• Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.

About The Role:

Days of Working: Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 16:30

This is a mobile role covering East Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems
• Ensure all delegated reactive works orders and PPMs are completed within the contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
• Provide a significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and must, therefore, play its part in the overall delivery of service.
• To complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks accordingly
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
• Support the site supervisor with the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services ensuring that all works are delivered, safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota

Essential Hiring Criteria:

• Applicant must have the right to work in the UK
• Must have a current, valid driving licence.
• NVQ, or equivalent inElectrical, Mechanical, or Building Services along with proven maintenance experience.
• Sound knowledge of understanding and developing safety documentation to ensure site safety procedures are always followed.
• CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.
• Understanding of First Aid
• IT Literate - Basic understanding of Excel & Microsoft products
