Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is a leading facilities management company delivering services in facilities management, hard services, cleaning, security and catering. The role operates Monday to Friday with on-call duties, involving reactive works, PPMs and contractor oversight to ensure quality and budget targets are met.

We are seeking a mobile maintenance professional with basic mechanical, electrical and plumbing knowledge, Legionella awareness and strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK is required.
• Full Driving Licence is required as the role is mobile.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Basic plumbing knowledge.
• Legionella awareness – training will be given.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and adaptable to handle a variety of tasks.
• Willingness to be on call one week in four.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPMs are completed within contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
• Contribute to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability.
• Complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks.
• Undertake contractor control duties and monitor workmanship to meet standards.
• Support the site supervisor with integrated delivery of all contracted services, on time, within budget and to quality standards.

About The Role

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPMs are completed within the contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
• Provide a significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and must, therefore, play its part in the overall delivery of service.
• To complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks accordingly
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
• Support the site supervisor with the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services ensuring that all works are delivered, safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
