Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a mobile Maintenance Technician to cover East Anglia. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems, ensuring works are completed within SLAs and KPIs to support contract profitability.

You will complete service sheets, monitor contractors, and assist the site supervisor to deliver safe, on-time, and quality work. NVQ in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services, CSCS card, and a valid driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Applicant must have the right to work in the UK.
• Must hold a current, valid driving licence.
• NVQ or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services with maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of safety documentation and procedures must be demonstrated.
• CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.
• Understanding of First Aid.
• IT literate with basic Excel and MS Office skills.

About the Role

Days of Working: Monday to Tuesday - 08:00 to 16:30

This is a mobile role covering East Anglia.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems
• Ensure all delegated reactive works orders and PPMs are completed within the contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
• Provide a significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and must, therefore, play its part in the overall delivery of service.
• To complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks accordingly
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
• Support the site supervisor with the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services ensuring that all works are delivered, safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota

Essential Hiring Criteria

• Applicant must have the right to work in the UK

• Sound knowledge of understanding and developing safety documentation to ensure site safety procedures are always followed.
