Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is seeking two Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to cover circa 10-15 commercial buildings across London and the M25. The role is field-based with a mechanical bias and requires City & Guilds/NVQ qualifications, offering a competitive salary up to £45-48,000 plus overtime.

You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant, attend multiple sites, and supervise sub-contractors while benefiting from training and development

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications in mechanical/electrical maintenance (City & Guilds/NVQ).
• Experience with commercial building maintenance and plant upkeep.
• Willingness to work on a mobile/regional basis across London & M25.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and Reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant.
• Perform weekly fire alarm tests, AOV tests, and log results.
• Carry out L8 water hygiene monitoring and routine servicing of plant equipment.
• Supervise subcontractors and assist with quotations for remedial works.
• Be available for duty call-out on a rota basis (1 in 8).

Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - FM Service Provider - Mobile (London & M25) - Up to £45-48,000

Exciting opportunity to work for a family run FM service provider situated in London & M25. CBW are currently looking for 2 x Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to cover in the region of circa 10-15 commercial buildings located in London & M25. The successful candidates will be mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

This is Mobile position and will require the successful candidates to attend a number of sites where he or she will be required to carry out PPM/Reactive maintenance to electrical and mechanical plant with particular emphasis on electrical & mechanical maintenance. In return the company is offering a competitive salary paying up to £45,000 per annum based on experience/qualifications, overtime and further training.

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Weekly Fire Alarm Tests and log
• Weekly AOV test and Log
• L8 water hygiene monitoring
• Fan Coil Unit servicing
• HIU/CIU servicing (Training will be given)
• Weekly/Monthly Generator test and log
• Weekly CHP Checks and log
• Monthly Car Park smoke ventilation test and log
• Monthly/Annual Emergency Lighting test and log
• Supervision of Sub Contractors
• Assist with preparation of Quotations for remedial works.
• Be available for duty call out cover, on a Rota basis (currently 1 in 8)

Hours of work

Monday to Friday -

Hours: 08:00am to 17:00pm

Requirements

• City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical Engineering / Plumbing
• You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• An understanding of commercial building maintenance
