Job summary

Stallion Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile M&E / Building Services Engineer to cover London with a salary around £48k plus overtime and strong benefits. The role focuses on planned maintenance of electrical/HVAC plant across high-end commercial sites, with a van, fuel card and client-facing responsibilities.

The successful candidate will possess a mechanical/electrical/HVAC background, 18th Edition, and an Electrical NVQ Level 2.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC building services maintenance background.
• Strong electrical and building services maintenance knowledge.
• Electrical NVQ City & Guilds Level 2 with 18th Edition.
• Good mechanical HVAC experience.
• Smart, presentable and client-facing on site.

Responsibilities

• Planned maintenance on electrical/HVAC plant, reactive and PPM tasks.
• Conduct on-site walk rounds and complete site reports.
• Check UPS systems and ensure reliability.
• Inspect/repair lighting, lamps and ballasts.
• Change lamps and replace/clean filters as needed.
• Make minor alterations to BMS set points.
• Coordinate with clients and on-site teams.

Job description

Mobile M&E / Building Services Engineer to cover London, salary to £48k plus overtime and great benefits.

Our client is a leading technical services provider who specialises in High profile Commercial Buildings Nationwide. Due to contract awards they are looking for a Mobile Electrical / Building Services Engineer to cover a number of sites in London

Role

• Planned Maintenance on Electrical / HVAC plant, undertaking reactives and PPM's
• Conduct site walk rounds and completing reports.
• Checking UPS systems
• Checking / repairing lighting / lamps / ballasts etc
• Changing lamps
• Changing / cleaning filters
• Minor alterations to BMS set points.

Location

Covering a number of high end commercial buildings in London, van and all parking permits etc provided.

Experience required

• Mechanical / Electrical / HVAC Building services maintenance background.
• Strong Electrical and Building Services Maintenance knowledge
• Electrical NVQ City & Guilds Level 2 qualified along with 18th Edition.
• Good Mechanical HVAC experience
• Must be smart and presentable, have excellent communication skills and be client facing as you will be interacting with the client on site on a daily basis.

Salary / benefits

• Competitive salary £48k+ based on 40hrs
• Good overtime rates including time & half and double time.
• 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
• On call (1 in 7) and stand by allowances
• Minimum 4 hours paid when called out at enhanced rate
