Job summary

Hamilton Rowe Recruitment Services Ltd seeks a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to cover a portfolio of commercial properties in London. The role offers GBP45,000–GBP50,000 per annum with a company van and fuel card, plus a 1–in–6 on-call rota and a pension scheme.

You will conduct PPM and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and perform electrical, mechanical, and building fabric upkeep across multiple sites while ensuring health and safety compliance and delivering high-quality service to clients.

Qualifications

• Electrical or Mechanical qualification such as City & Guilds, NVQ, or a recognised apprenticeship.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities management.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and communicate professionally with clients.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a portfolio of commercial properties.
• Responding to reactive maintenance requests and diagnosing faults across building services systems.
• Undertaking general electrical, mechanical, and building fabric maintenance where required.
• Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations and site procedures.
• Completing maintenance reports, service records, and relevant documentation.
• Building positive relationships with clients and site teams while delivering a high standard of service.
• Managing daily workloads and working independently across multiple sites.
