Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Plumber to cover a portfolio of circa 10-15 commercial buildings in Central London (Zones 1&2). You will be mechanically biased, holding relevant qualifications, and expected to carry out PPMs, reactive maintenance, and small installations.

The role is based on a foot mobile basis across sites with a typical 08:00–17:00 schedule, offering up to £45,000 depending on experience and qualifications, plus benefits and travel

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled with broad mechanical maintenance capabilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Level 2 & 3 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance on AHUs/FCUs and pumps.
• Maintain log books and coordinate with sub-contractors.
• Support other engineers and provide technical guidance.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Plumber - FM Service Provider - Foot Mobile / London Portfolio (Zones 1&2) - Up to £45,000

Exciting opportunity to work for a family run FM service provider situated in London. CBW are currently looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to cover in the region of circa 10-15 commercial buildings located in Central London (Zones 1&2) on a reactive basis. The successful candidate will be Mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, installation and testing & inspection.

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (servicing, filter changes, cleaning)
• Pumps, Motors & general mechanical plant maintenance
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds etc)
• Remedials
• Small Mechanical Installations
• Carry out PPM's & Reactive maintenance
• Ensuring log books are kept up to date
• Escorting specialist sub contractors
• Assisting other engineers
• Offering technical support

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 17:00pm

Requirements

• City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Level 2 & 3
• Air Conditioning / Refrigeration qualification (F-Gas desired)
• JIB Gold Card (or equivalent)
• You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• An understanding of commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• You must be happy to work on a "Foot Mobile" basis and attend multiple sites (i.e. this is not a mobile role where a vehicle is provided)
