Job summary

Omega in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our team, working on a leading supermarket contract. You will perform non-technical repairs and minor PPMs, and assist in planned and reactive electrical and mechanical plant works at various sites in the designated region.

The role offers a 40-hour week, travel time paid after half an hour each way, overtime on weekends, a company pension (matched up to 5%), and various employee discount schemes.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ trade qualification preferred.
• Experience in commercial/retail building maintenance.
• Able to assist with planned and reactive maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist other Technicians with maintenance work.
• Complete required PPMs and reactive maintenance on time.
• Respond to service requests from Helpdesk and perform repairs.
• Prioritise and complete minor maintenance within timescales.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available and serviceable.

Job description

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve carrying out non-technical repairs and minor PPM&'s. You will also assist in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, electrical, and mechanical plant works at various sites within the designated region.

Key Responsibilities – Mobile Maintenance Technician

• Assist other Technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
• Responding promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary.
• Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.

Qualifications & Experience – Mobile Maintenance Technician

• City & Guilds / NVQ trade qualification (Carpentry / Plumbing / Roofing) – Preferrable
• Previous experience in building maintenance within a commercial / retail environment
