Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to cover sites in the North and West Midlands region. The position focuses on non-technical repairs, planned and reactive maintenance, and assisting with electrical and mechanical plant work on supermarket contracts.

You will perform PPMs, reactive tasks, and assist other technicians while ensuring paperwork is completed accurately. A 40‑hour week is typical with travel time paid after the first 30 minutes.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ trade qualification (Carpentry / Plumbing / Roofing) preferred.
• Experience in building maintenance within a commercial/retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist other Technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPM’s and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
• Responding promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary.
• Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.

Education

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve carrying out non-technical repairs and minor PPM&'s. You will also assist in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, electrical, and mechanical plant works at various sites within the designated region.
