Job summary

Staffline is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician for Maldon / Witham / Chelmsford. You will maintain supermarket contracts, perform non-technical repairs, and support planned/reactive maintenance across sites in the region.

The role includes completing PPM tasks, responding to Helpdesk service calls, and ensuring tools are ready. A City & Guilds/NVQ in related trades is preferred, with a background in commercial/building maintenance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in building maintenance within a commercial / retail environment.
• City & Guilds / NVQ trade qualification (Carpentry / Plumbing / Roofing) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist other Technicians with major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
• Responding promptly to service call requests from the Helpdesk and assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary.
• Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.

Mobile Maintenance Technician

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technicianto join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve carrying out non-technical repairs and minor PPM&'s. You will also assist in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, electrical, and mechanical plant works at various sites within the designated region.
