Job summary

Staffline is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to join the team covering North Birmingham/Wolverhampton. The role offers a £30K salary, a 40 hour week, and travel time paid after 30 minutes each way, with OT paid at 1.5x Mon-Fri and 2x Sat-Sun.

You will perform non-technical repairs and minor PPMs, and support planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites within the region. Qualifications include City & Guilds / NVQ trade qualification (Carpentry / Plumbing / Roofing) preferred,

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance within a commercial/retail environment.
• Carpentry, plumbing or roofing qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist other technicians with maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance within timescales.
• Respond to service calls from Helpdesk and assess repair requirements.
• Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repairs on time.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available and serviceable.

Mobile Maintenance Technician

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technicianto join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve carrying out non-technical repairs and minor PPM&'s. You will also assist in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, electrical, and mechanical plant works at various sites within the designated region.

Key Responsibilities - Mobile Maintenance Technician

• Assist other Technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
• Responding promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary.
• Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.

Qualifications & Experience - Mobile Maintenance Technician

• City & Guilds / NVQ trade qualification (Carpentry / Plumbing / Roofing) - Preferrable
• Previous experience in building maintenance within a commercial / retail environment
