Job summary

Maintenance Technician role based in Telford, focused on mobile maintenance across retail stores. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical, mechanical and building assets, ensuring safety procedures and cost effectiveness.

The position is permanent, with a salary of £41,506.36 including on-call standby (1:4), a 42.5-hour week, travel time paid after 30 minutes each way, overtime paid at 1.5x Mon-Fri and 2x Sat-Sun, plus pension, private healthcare and employee discounts.

Qualifications

C&G 2382 (18th edition) is required.
Electrical Level 3 qualification (e.g. C&G2330, C&G2365) with relevant experience.
Experience in planned and reactive maintenance on electrical, mechanical and building services.

Responsibilities

Complete all necessary PPMs and log remedial tasks to meet contracts and legal requirements.
Supervise Maintenance Assistant, coaching and guiding them per company processes.
Prioritise maintenance and repairs to meet agreed timescales and SLAs.

Maintenance Technician

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician, to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve carry out planned and reactive maintenance and repairs to a range of electrical, mechanical and building assets in retail stores in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the specified Company Health and Safety procedures.

This is likely to include bakery and catering equipment, mechanical and electrical systems and assets, lighting systems, building fabric, water services and other static and portable electrical equipment. General maintenance and first look is required for all HVAC/Fire and Security and electrical and general issues.

Key Responsibilities - Mobile Maintenance Technician

To complete all necessary PPM's and ensure all PPM remedial tasks are accurately logged and actioned, ensuring legal compliance
To supervise the Maintenance Assistant (MA), provide regular coaching and support them to perform their role in line with company processes.
To prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and contract SLA's
