Job summary

HYDRAQUIP HOSE & HYDRAULICS is seeking a Field Service Engineer to replace hydraulic hoses and components at customer sites across the UK. You will diagnose faults, complete repairs safely, and deliver excellent service while working independently and maintaining detailed job reports via our mobile app.

The role requires direct customer interaction, a full UK manual driving licence, and experience in hose replacement or mechanical fitting.

Qualifications

• Experience replacing hydraulic hoses and components on site.
• Confidently dealing with customers and providing service support.
• Clean UK driving licence and ability to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to replace hydraulic hoses and components.
• Diagnose faults and complete safe repairs.
• Work independently while delivering excellent customer service.
• Update jobs and reports via mobile app.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Attending customer sites to replace hydraulic hoses and components
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently
• Working independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Updating jobs and reports via the company mobile app
• Building relationships with new and existing customers

Essential Experience

What we’re looking for

• Experience in hose replacement, plant, HGV, agricultural or mechanical fitting
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Confidence dealing directly with customers

Desirable Experience

• Mobile or on‑call engineering experience
• Commercial awareness or customer development experience

This role includes participation in an on‑call rota, typically one week in every four.
