Job summary

Hydraquip Hose & Hydraulics in the UK is seeking a field service engineer to visit customer sites, replace hydraulic hoses and components, diagnose faults, and complete repairs safely and efficiently. You will work independently while delivering excellent customer service.

A full UK driving licence is required, and you will join a team that values training, progression, and recognition for quality work. The role includes an on‑call rota and opportunities for overtime, with a company van and PPE

Qualifications

• Experience in hose replacement, plant, HGV, agricultural or mechanical fitting.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Confidence dealing directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to replace hydraulic hoses and components.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Work independently while delivering excellent customer service.
• Update jobs and reports via the company mobile app.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in hose replacement, plant, HGV, agricultural or mechanical fitting
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Confidence dealing directly with customers

Desirable Experience

• Mobile or on‑call engineering experience
• Commercial awareness or customer development experience

This role includes participation in an on‑call rota, typically one week in every four.
