Job summary

Hydraquip Ltd, the UK’s largest independent Hose & Hydraulics company, is seeking a field-based engineer to attend customer sites, replace hydraulic hoses and components, diagnose faults, and deliver high‑quality service. You will work independently, update job records via a mobile app, and build strong customer relationships.

Essential experience includes hose replacement across plant, HGV, agricultural or mechanical fitting, plus a Full UK manual driving licence and the ability to communicate

Qualifications

• Experience in hose replacement, plant, HGV, agricultural or mechanical fitting.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Confidence dealing directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Attending customer sites to replace hydraulic hoses and components.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently.
• Working independently while delivering excellent customer service.
• Updating jobs and reports via the company mobile app.
• Building relationships with new and existing customers.

What we’re looking for

• Commercial awareness or customer development experience

This role includes participation in an on‑call rota, typically one week in every four.
