Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in the UK is hiring a Mobile HVAC Engineer to cover sites in Coalville, Derby, Mansfield, Eastwood, Minworth and Kettering. The role focuses on electrical and mechanical maintenance across plant, equipment and building services.

Candidates should have a recognised apprenticeship, strong HVAC maintenance experience, City & Guilds mechanical qualifications, and F-Gas certification. You will manage risks, work with BMS, supervise contractors and participate in on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship recognised or time-served in HVAC.
• Proven experience maintaining HVAC systems.
• City & Guilds mechanical qualifications.
• Strong multi-skilled capability.
• Excellent fault-finding abilities.
• Experience supervising contractors.
• Able to produce Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
• Able to prepare permits and safe systems of work.
• F-Gas certified and familiar with refrigerants.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks on onsite equipment and plant performance.
• Monitor environmental conditions via BMS to ensure efficient operation.
• Fault-find on a wide range of HVAC plant, focusing on VRV/VRF systems.
• Supervise subcontractors and assist during on-call duties.
• Prepare Risk Assessments, Method Statements and related documentation.
