Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Beeston, Nottingham, seeks an HVAC Multi Skilled Engineer to join our on-site team. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance across plant, equipment and building services, with a focus on safe, efficient operation and proactive improvements.

Key requirements include a recognised apprenticeship, strong HVAC maintenance experience, F-Gas certification, and the ability to supervise contractors and produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

Qualifications

• Recognised or time-served apprenticeship.
• Strong, proven experience in HVAC maintenance.
• Mechanical qualifications to a City & Guilds standard.
• Good multi-skilled capability.
• Strong fault-finding skills.
• Ability to supervise contractors.
• Competence in producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Ability to prepare and understand permits and safe systems of work.
• F-Gas certification and experience working with refrigerants.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks with onsite equipment and plant performance.
• Manage environmental conditions via the BMS and ensure efficient operation.
• Fault-find on HVAC plant and VRV/VRF systems.
• Work safely with refrigerants and comply with F-Gas handling.
• Supervise contractors and participate in on-call rota.
• Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Complete documentation in line with standards.
• Liaise with Supervisor and Account Manager to resolve issues.
• Deputise for Site Supervisor during absences.
• Occasional overtime, including nights/weekends.
