Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile HVAC Engineer to cover London and surrounding areas.

The role focuses on electrical and mechanical maintenance across plant and building services, with responsibilities spanning risk assessment, VRV/VRF fault-finding, and coordination with site teams. The candidate will work with the BMS to maintain optimal environmental conditions, supervise subcontractors, and participate in an on-call rota to handle out-of-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must have a recognised or time-served apprenticeship.
• Strong HVAC maintenance experience is required across plant, equipment and building services.
• Mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds standard.
• Good multi-skilled capability across electrical and mechanical tasks.
• Strong fault-finding skills are essential.
• Ability to supervise contractors on-site.
• Competence in producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• F-Gas certification and refrigerant handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks associated with onsite equipment and plant performance.
• Manage environmental conditions via the BMS system to ensure efficient operation.
• Fault-find on a wide range of HVAC plant, with focus on VRV/VRF systems.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate tasks.
• Work OOH and on-call as required.
• Carry out risk assessments and method statements.
• Prepare required documentation to standards and for CAFM systems.
