Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile HVAC Engineer to service sites across Coalville, Derby, Mansfield, Eastwood, Minworth and Kettering. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant, equipment and building services to ensure optimum performance.

The successful candidate will have an apprenticeship, strong HVAC maintenance experience, F-Gas certification and the ability to supervise contractors, with flexibility to travel and occasional on-call duties.

Qualifications

Recognised or time-served apprenticeship.
Strong, proven experience in HVAC maintenance.
Mechanical qualifications to a City & Guilds standard.
Ability to supervise contractors.
Competence in producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Ability to prepare and understand permits and safe systems of work.
F-Gas certification and experience working with refrigerants.

Responsibilities

Identify and manage risks on onsite equipment.
Manage environmental conditions via the BMS.
Fault-find on HVAC plant and equipment, with VRV/VRF focus.
Work safely with refrigerants and ensure F‑Gas compliance.
Plan daily work using email/calendar tools and liaise with the supervisor.
Deputise for the Site Supervisor during absences and undertake overtime as needed.
Supervise subcontractors and participate in on-call duties.
Prepare, follow and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
