Job summary

Nacro is recruiting for a Community Accommodation with Support (CAS-2) role across England and Wales to help low/medium-risk service users achieve independent living with housing and tenancy support. The role involves strong collaboration with probation services and housing providers in a nationwide programme.

Successful candidates will undergo Enhanced DBS and HMPPS checks, hold a full driving license with a vehicle and business insurance, and travel regularly as part of the caseload.

Qualifications

• Experienced in a support or housing‑related role.
• Experience working with vulnerable adults and individuals with complex needs.
• Strong communication, organisation, and record‑keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess individual support needs, create person-centred support and safety plans, and assist with housing applications and rent payments.
• Ensure properties meet the Decent Homes Standard and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Collaborate with probation services, court staff, housing providers and other agencies for coordinated support.
• Help service users develop practical life skills and manage accommodation toward move‑on in independent living.
• Identify and manage safeguarding concerns and tenancy risks, recording actions per policy.
• Maintain accurate case records and support delivery in line with contractual requirements.
