Job summary

Nacro in Flintshire is recruiting for a Community Accommodation with Support role. You will assess service users' needs, develop personalised support plans, and assist with housing applications and rent payments to sustain tenancies.

This role requires regular travel, a full driving licence, and access to your own car. DBS and HMPPS checks apply, with progression within Nacro's pay framework and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a support or housing role.
• Experience with vulnerable adults and complex needs.
• Strong communication, organisation and record-keeping.
• Ability to build positive relationships and motivate others.
• Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of housing support and welfare benefits.
• Ability to work independently and in a multi-agency team.
• Resilient with a healthy work-life balance.
• Creative problem-solver and emotionally intelligent.
• Excellent ICT skills; Outlook, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assess service user needs and create person-centred support plans.
• Assist with housing applications and rent payments to support independence.
• Ensure properties meet the Decent Homes Standard and address maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with probation services, court staff, housing providers and other agencies.
• Help service users develop practical life skills and plan move-on to independent living.
• Identify and manage safeguarding concerns and tenancy risks, recording actions.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure contractual and organisational compliance.
