Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a Scheme Housing Officer to manage and support residents across multiple independent living schemes in the Northiam, Rye area. The role involves tenancy management, safeguarding residents, and ensuring high-quality service delivery within housing policies.

You will work with partner agencies, handle enquiries, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining records and promoting community involvement.

Qualifications

• Previous Housing Officer, Scheme Manager or tenancy management experience.
• Strong customer service and resident engagement skills.
• Experience handling complaints and enquiries.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT and record management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support residents across multiple schemes.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants and residents.
• Respond to enquiries, concerns and complaints promptly.
• Carry out tenancy management and housing support activities.
• Develop relationships with residents and partner agencies.
• Support residents to maintain independence and wellbeing.
• Identify and resolve tenancy and scheme issues.
• Maintain accurate records and case notes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Promote resident engagement and community involvement.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
