Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is seeking an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join a growing field service team covering Oldbury and surrounding areas. Working Mon-Fri, 7:00am–4:00pm with no weekends, you will service, maintain and repair HGVs at customer sites and roadside.

You’ll diagnose faults with modern diagnostic gear, perform inspections and MOT prep, and keep accurate job cards and maintenance records.

Qualifications

• HGV Level 3 qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds) required.
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician or Mobile HGV Mechanic, including MOT prep.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair HGVs and heavy commercial vehicles at customer sites and at the roadside.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out inspections, safety checks, MOT preparation and breakdown repairs.
• Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately.

We have a vacancy for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician / Mobile HGV Mechanic to join a growing field service team covering Oldbury and the surrounding area.

Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, no weekends

Mobile HGV Technician Salary = £42,387 to £45,000 Depending on Experience + £1,500 Signing Bonus

The Mobile HGV Technician Role

• Service, maintain and repair HGVs and heavy commercial vehicles at customer sites and at the roadside
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
• Carry out inspections, safety checks, MOT preparation and breakdown repairs
• Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately

Must have

an HGV Level 3 qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair)

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician or Mobile HGV Mechanic, including MOT prep
