Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is seeking a skilled Mobile HGV Technician to join our growing team in East London. This role offers Monday to Friday work with no weekend shifts, plus a company van, fuel card and excellent overtime opportunities as well as industry-leading training.

You will service, maintain and repair HGVs and trailers at customer sites and on roadside locations, diagnose faults with modern equipment, and perform MOT preparation and safety inspections.

Qualifications

• Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience as an HGV Technician or Mobile HGV Technician.
• MOT preparation experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential) and CLASS 2 license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to HGVs and trailers at customer sites and roadside locations.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Complete routine inspections, safety checks and MOT preparation work.
• Attend vehicle breakdowns and provide efficient roadside repairs to minimise downtime.
