Kemp Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Mobile HGV Technician based in Dartford with a home base, covering Upminster and surrounding areas. You will work 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 6.30pm, with overnight stays and substantial overtime paid at 1.5x.

A company van, fuel card and mobile phone are provided along with pension benefits. Industry-leading training starts from day one, including two weeks in an office environment and one week shadowing an existing technician.

Formación

• Previous experience working on a range of heavy goods vehicles.
• Any previous mobile HGV technician experience would be beneficial.
• Any experience gained working on GSE would be an advantage.
• UK valid driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a variety of routine servicing, inspections and subsequent repairs to trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Carry out visual or operational checks to locate worn, dirty or maladjusted parts.
• Use diagnostic techniques and test equipment to locate and repair faulty parts or systems.
• Produce accurate reports after inspecting accident damaged machines.
• Work on customer sites with or without workshop facilities available.

Salary: Up to £52,400 Basic + Van, FC + Overtime (paid at 1.5X)

*This role does include overnight stays

Mobile HGV Technician opportunity

Due to increased business levels our specialist fleet maintenance company is looking to add an additional mobile HGV technician to the team. As a mobile HGV Technician you will be based from home covering Upminster and the surrounding area. You will work 48 hours per week between the core hours of 7.00am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday. Industry leading training is offered from day 1 to include 2 weeks in an office environment and 1 week shadowing with an existing mobile HGV Technician

Duties of the Mobile HGV Technician:

• Perform a variety of routine servicing, inspections and subsequent repairs to a variety of trucks and commercial vehicles
• Perform visual or operational checks to locate worn, dirty or maladjusted parts.
• Carry out technical inspections or use technical manuals and diagnostic techniques to find and repair inoperable or defective machine parts, components or systems using a small variety of test equipment.
• Will be required to undertake thorough inspections of accident damaged machines and produce accurate reports to enable repair.
• In this mobile HGV technician role you will be working on customer sites with or without workshop facilities being available for use

Experience/skills required for the Mobile HGV Technician:
