Job summary

Hamilton Rowe Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to cover a Berkshire-based portfolio of commercial sites. Salary £43,000 - £45,000, with a company van, fuel card and progression opportunities. Mon-Fri, 8am–5pm, Berkshire-based portfolio.

You will perform PPM and reactive mechanical maintenance on motors, pumps, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, and water treatment systems, with BMS involvement and strict adherence to safety and RAMS processes. Strong client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience within commercial building maintenance.
• Strong communication skills with a professional, client-facing approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive mechanical maintenance.
• Work on motors, generators (on/off load testing), shutdowns, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, sprinkler systems, pumps, belts, bearings, seals and water treatment systems.
• Operate and have an understanding of BMS systems.
• Safely isolate plant and equipment in line with site and statutory safety procedures.
• Ensure all corrective and repair works comply with current regulations and standards.
• Promote safe working practices and high-quality workmanship.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors where required.
• Complete logbooks, RAMS, reports and permits to work.
• Raise and close jobs using PDA systems.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

We've got an excellent opportunity for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join our client, covering a portfolio of commercial sites based solely across Berkshire. As a Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you will oversee a portfolio of commercial sites, manage client expectations, and take initiative to maintain high standards of service.

Mobile Maintenance Engineer Duties:

Salary & Package:

• £43,000 - £45,000 per annum
