Job summary

Invictus Group in London is seeking a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to service commercial sites across London and the South East.

The role covers PPM, reactive maintenance, fault finding and small installation works on mechanical building services; you will travel between sites with a company vehicle.

A strong background in commercial building services, a full UK driving license and willingness to work on a mobile rota are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial mechanical building services.
• Experience with pumps, valves and pipework.
• Ability to fault find and diagnose issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Reactive maintenance and fault finding on commercial mechanical systems
• PPM servicing across client portfolio
• Repairs and small installation works (pipework, pumps, valves, cylinders etc.)
• Diagnosing issues with hot/cold water systems, booster sets and pressurisation units
• Mechanical remedial works identified on site
• Complete service reports and documentation
• Work independently across multiple sites
• Participate in call-out rota when required

Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

London & South East (Majority of work within the M25)

£50,000+ per annum + Overtime + Company Vehicle

We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join a growing mobile engineering team covering commercial sites across London and the South East.

This is a varied, hands‑on role involving PPM, reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs and small installation works across a wide range of mechanical building services systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Reactive maintenance and fault finding on commercial mechanical systems
• PPM servicing across client portfolio
• Repairs and small installation works (pipework, pumps, valves, cylinders etc.)
• Diagnosing issues with hot/cold water systems, booster sets and pressurisation units
• Mechanical remedial works identified on site
• Complete service reports and documentation
• Work independently across multiple sites
• Participate in call-out rota when required

Experience Required

• Strong background in commercial mechanical building services
• Experience in commercial plumbing, pumps, valves and pipework
• Ability to fault find and diagnose issues independently
• Experience with repairs and installation works
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering
• Unvented Hot Water qualification
• Commercial Gas qualifications (advantageous)
• Experience on mobile engineering contracts
