Job summary

EQUANS is seeking a Mobile Electrician for the Rotherham Schools contract. This permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week) includes covering 14 school sites across Rotherham, with a company van provided and a competitive salary and benefits package.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of electrical maintenance, be able to work unsupervised to diagnose faults, respond to reactive works, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, compliance with HS&E regulations, and teamwork with site

Qualifications

• Awareness of risk assessment and working safely with electronic test equipment.
• Ability to follow work instructions, read/ interpret technical diagrams and report technical information as required.
• Electrical fault finding & rectification skills.
• City & Guilds Level III or an ONC is a minimum requirement.
• 18th Edition Qualified.
• Holds City & Guilds 2377-12 & 2377-11 PAT testing (Preferred but not a requirement).

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, reactive repairs and fault finding.
• Carry out planned and minor project electrical works.
• Provide out of hours cover as part of a Rota.
• Complete electrical small works and test sheets to comply with accreditation and statuary requirements.
• Compliant with all safety related policies and procedures.
