Kier Places Workplace Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Sheffield Schools team, covering multiple site locations in Sheffield. The role is permanent and mobile, performing routine and reactive electrical maintenance to ensure building operations meet compliance and safety standards.

The candidate will carry out maintenance tasks such as lighting, fire alarm and HVAC upkeep, perform electrical tests, and coordinate with helpdesk.

Formación

• Level 3 electrical installations qualifications (C&G 236, 2391-52, 18th Edition, C&G 2382)
• Full driving licence
• Good problem-solving and proactive approach
• Comfort using computer systems/tablets to update work tasks

Responsabilidades

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance including emergency lighting testing, fire alarm testing, and HVAC maintenance
• Respond to reactive electrical tasks such as lighting, power installations, socket replacement, and fault diagnosis and repair
• Conduct electrical tests and certification of all works in line with regulations
• Record maintenance results on CAFM system and liaise with Helpdesk on progress
• Induct and monitor sub-contractors to ensure site procedures and quality standards
