Job summary

Equans is seeking a Mobile Technical Operative (Electrical) to service HMCTS sites in Kingston upon Hull. You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across building assets, ensuring safety and accurate CAFM documentation.

The role requires 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, an NVQ 3 in Electrical, a full UK driving licence, BPSS and CTC clearance as needed, with on-site supervision of subcontractors when required.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations required.
• BPSS clearance required for post.
• CTC (Counter Terrorism Check) clearance required for specific sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on building assets.
• Ensure safe working practices and maintain accurate CAFM records.
• Coordinate with contractors and client representatives on site.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments for tasks.
• Support electrical shutdowns and compliance with BS7671.
