Job summary

Equans is seeking a Mobile Electrician to join our HMCTS contract. Based from Staines County Court, covering sites across the surrounding area, you will contribute to safe, reliable electrical maintenance and rapid fault resolution.

This full-time role is 40 hours per week with a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package. The position includes 24 days leave, life cover, discounts, gym membership, cycle to work, CSR days, and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or equivalent.
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
• Full Clean UK Driving License.
• Ability to fault-find, diagnose, and rectify complex electrical faults independently.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, enabling switching schedules and safety documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical infrastructure and plant.
• Address and resolve reactive maintenance tasks, identifying areas for improvement.
• Remedy plant faults to maintain equipment in operational order.
• Maintain stock of spares to support maintenance.
• Provide parts lists and estimated timescales for remedial work.
• Complete documentation and submit to contract administrator.
