Job summary

Mount Charles Group in Greater Belfast seeks a Mobile Cleaning Operative to deliver high-quality cleaning services across sites in the region. You will work Monday to Friday, with hours between 6am and 6pm, supporting offices, meeting rooms, toilets and amenities to the highest standards.

You will respond to customer requirements in a professional manner, manage stock and equipment, and follow health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic reading, writing and listening skills required for safety and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of cleaning service within your area of responsibility in line with client specifications.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer requirements.
• Clean offices, meeting rooms, toilets/showers, laboratories and amenity areas site wide.
• Ensure stock is replenished and equipment is maintained; report defects to Line Manager.

The Role:

• Providing the highest level of Cleaning service within your area of responsibility in line with the clients' specifications
• Responding positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements and carry out your duties in a professional and courteous manner
• Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting
• rooms, toilets/showers, laboratories and amenity areas site wide
• Ensuring all stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility
• Ensuring regular checks are carried out to the equipment/machines used
• During hours of work and all the equipment is left clean and in good working order at the end of your shift, reporting any defects to your Line Manager
• Making yourself familiar with and follow all company procedures and regulations
• Participating in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report any dangers, near misses or hazards you encounter to your Line Manager
• All offices, toilets, etc and amenity areas to be presented in a clean and tidy

The Person:

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential
• Previous work experience in customer service employment
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work, instructions and communicating with customer on a day-today basis.
