Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Mobile Cleaning Operative for the Greater Belfast Area. The role requires a full clean driving licence as the work is mobile. You will ensure cleaning is completed to required standards and follow COSHH guidelines while operating and maintaining cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas efficiently to required standards, including weekly and periodic tasks.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely per COSHH guidelines.
• Be familiar with cleaning equipment, materials and agents and use them only after training.
• Report faulty equipment immediately and mark as faulty.
• Use safety signage appropriately and warn customers where possible.
• Keep cleaning stores clean, tidy and equipment stored safely.
• Safe disposal of sharps such as needles and blades if necessary.

This role is mobile so a full clean driving licence is a must have! This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.

Working Pattern:

• 40 hours per week
• Five days in seven
• Rota basis
• Every other weekend off

The Role:

• Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards - this to include weekly and periodic tasks
• Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to health guidelines (COSHH)
• Ensure full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents and use cleaning equipment as directed by the Line Manager only after correct training is given.
• Report immediately any equipment which is faulty, mark as faulty and do not use
• Ensure that the safety signage is used appropriate at all times, e.g. wet floor signs and 'warn' customers where possible
• Ensure that cleaning stores are kept clean and tidy and equipment is stored correctly and safely at all times
• Safe disposal of sharps such as needles and blades may be necessary
