Job summary

Mount Charles Group is recruiting for a Mobile Cleaning Operative to cover the Lisburn area. You will deliver high standards of housekeeping across client sites, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with requirements.

The role offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:00, with full training provided and a supportive, family‑oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and a proactive approach to guest and client needs.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in daily tasks.
• Experience in cleaning-related roles is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of housekeeping/cleaning in line with client specifications.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer requirements.
• Clean offices, meeting rooms, toilets/showers, laboratories and amenity areas.
• Ensure stocks are replenished and equipment is maintained and clean.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene standards, HACCP where applicable.
• Plan daily cleaning routes and manage site schedules to meet deadlines.
• Prioritise tasks based on site requirements.

The Role

• Providing the highest level of housekeeping/Cleaning service within your area of responsibility in line with the clients' specifications
• Responding positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements and carry out your duties in a professional and courteous manner
• Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting rooms, toilets/showers, laboratories and amenity areas site wide
• Ensuring all stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility
• Ensuring regular checks are carried out to the equipment and machines used during hours of work and all the equipment is left clean
• All offices, toilets, and amenity areas to be presented clean and tidy
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
• Comply with all HACCP regulations as necessary
• Follow procedures as directed on the correct handling and use of all cleaning materials
• Report defective equipment/ utensils/ work and floor surfaces or any other Health and Safety issues
• Plan daily cleaning routes to ensure efficient travel between multiple sites.
• Maintain a schedule to meet cleaning deadlines and client expectations.
• Prioritise tasks based on site requirements

The Person

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous work experience in customer service employment
• Current BICS Qualifications
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential
• Full clean driving licence
• Access to own transport
