Job summary

Virtu Property is seeking a maintenance operative to support cleaning, caretaking, grounds care and maintenance across residential properties in Fareham and surrounding areas. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, carry out multi-skilled repairs, and report safety issues while ensuring site standards and paperwork are up to date.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, clear communication in English, and competence in painting, decorating, carpentry and general repairs.

Qualifications

• Holds a full, valid UK Driving Licence.
• Fluent level of English for professional communication.
• Competence in maintenance skills such as painting, decorating, carpentry and general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across residential and communal properties.
• Carry out multi-skilled repairs including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, decorating and grounds tasks.
• Identify and report defects, safety concerns, and opportunities for remedial works.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures and company standards.
• Maintain accurate job records, service reports, and vehicle checks.
• Provide a professional, reliable service while working independently across multiple sites.
