Job summary

Virtu Property is seeking a committed cleaner to maintain cleanliness of communal spaces across residential properties. You will follow cleaning schedules, report issues to the FM Operations Manager, and ensure tasks meet high standards while adhering to site specifications.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of communal spaces
• Manage time, arrive on site on time and follow cleaning schedule
• Report maintenance issues to FM Operations Manager
• Carry out cleaning tasks to a high standard within allocated time
• Follow site cleaning specifications; consult Team Leader if unsure
• Work with health and safety guidelines; use appropriate signage
• Wear and use PPE at all times
• Report emergencies to Team Leader if unable to fulfill duties
• Sign contractors log at site visits

What you’ll be doing:

No two days are the same, but the tasks below offer a glimpse of what to expect.

Cleaning of communal spaces

Effectively manage your time, arriving to site on time and spending the allocated time at each location in line with the cleaning schedule

Report any maintenance issues, defects or problems on site to FM Operations Manager

Carry out all cleaning tasks at each location to a high standard and within the allocated time

Ensure you are aware of the specific cleaning specification for each site, referring to your Team Leader if unsure

Work in accordance with all health and safety guidelines, avoiding the risk of slips, trips or falls and use all appropriate signage

Ensure you always possess and use all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Report immediately to your Team Leader in the event of an emergency or issue preventing you from fulfilling your duties on site or having to leave site early

Sign the contractors log at each site visit, as and when required

Time to Recharge: 21 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
