Job summary

Virtu Property is seeking a skilled maintenance operative to deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across residential and communal properties in the Birmingham area. You’ll work independently across multiple sites with a company-provided vehicle and fuel card.

Holders of a full UK driving licence, fluent English, and competence in painting, decorating, carpentry and general repairs will thrive in this role. We offer uniform, benefits, and a supportive academy for growth.

Qualifications

• Holds a full, valid UK Driving Licence.
• Fluent level of English; able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Competence in maintenance tasks such as painting, decorating, carpentry and general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across residential and communal properties.
• Carry out multi-skilled repairs including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and grounds maintenance tasks.
• Identify and report defects, safety concerns, and opportunities for remedial works.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures and company standards.
• Maintain accurate job records, service reports, and vehicle checks.
• Provide a professional, reliable service while working independently across multiple sites.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance services across residential and communal properties.

What You Need To Succeed
