Job summary

Virtu Property in Birmingham is seeking a skilled maintenance operative to deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across residential and communal properties. You will perform multi-skilled repairs and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

You’ll work independently across multiple sites with a full UK driving licence and fluent English. The role offers a busy, varied schedule, with uniform provided and a company vehicle, plus benefits and ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Holds a full, valid UK Driving Licence.
• Fluent level of English; able to communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Competence in maintenance skills such as painting, decorating, carpentry, and general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across residential and communal properties.
• Carry out multi-skilled repairs including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and grounds maintenance tasks.
• Identify and report defects, safety concerns, and opportunities for remedial works.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures and company standards.
• Maintain accurate job records, service reports, and vehicle checks.
• Provide a professional, reliable service while working independently across multiple sites.

What You Need to Succeed
