McCarthy & Stone is seeking passionate Care Assistants for our Carlisle area developments. The role combines personal care and domestic tasks, requiring travel between sites. A valid UK driving license and car are essential, with travel expenses covered and mileage paid.

The role offers an hourly rate of £14.50, with additional uplifts for evenings and weekends. Various hours on a rota include mornings, evenings, and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification is preferred but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy are required.
• Willingness to travel between developments with a car is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and domestic support to homeowners.
• Assist with daily activities, personal hygiene and medication where needed.
• Support social activities and transport arrangements to enhance wellbeing.
